IU #014: How LinkedIn Posts Can Help You Land a Job (And How 99% of People Get This Wrong)

Last week, I shared that 6000+ people viewed my LinkedIn profile in just 90 days.

After I sent that newsletter, my inbox blew up with questions:

  • How can I get more hiring managers to view my LinkedIn profile?

  • How can I get more professionals to view my portfolio?

  • How can I get more recruiters to view my resume?

Well, today’s your lucky day.

In this newsletter, I’ll share how you can get thousands of eyes on your LinkedIn profile, portfolio and resume.

Be sure to read until the end – I’ve got a big announcement!

Let’s dive in.

(Read time: 2 minutes)

How to Boost Views on Your Profile, Portfolio & Resume

The answer? Create LinkedIn posts.

Why? Because content creation can help you:

  • Be seen more.

  • Stand out from the crowd.

  • Build a personal brand.

  • Show your skills.

  • Show your personality.

  • Show your experience.

  • Tell your story in your own words.

I’m not suggesting you become the next Kardashian. You don’t need to be an influencer with a billion followers to get ahead.

Think of your LinkedIn posts as advertisements for you. They can drive the right people straight to your profile page. After that, there are infinite opportunities.

The problem is that most people don’t know where to start.

Where Most People Go Wrong with LinkedIn Posts

I’ve seen thousands of people create LinkedIn posts. Sadly, most people quit, thinking that posting doesn’t work.

They failed because they could not answer these 4 questions:

  • Who to Talk To? They lacked clarity about their target audience.

  • What to Say? Their message wasn’t clear.

  • How to Say It? Their posts were confusing.

  • Why Post? They didn’t have a content strategy.

Here’s the good news: Since most people get it wrong, there will be more opportunities when you get it right.

How to Write Relevant Content

To write great content, address these 4 issues:

  • Know Your Audience: Searching for a job? Create content that connects you with hiring managers, recruiters, industry experts, and fellow job seekers.

  • Have a Clear Message: What's the goal of your post? Share your achievements, pose a question, or provide industry insights.

  • Keep It Simple: Make your post easy to read and straight to the point.

  • Have a Goal: Whether you're seeking feedback, sharing experiences, or wanting to connect, always have a clear purpose for your post.

Big News!

I've been working on something huge.

Over the past year, I’ve helped my coaching clients get jobs through online networking. Eventually, I noticed that most of their opportunities came directly from their LinkedIn posts.

So, I spent the past few months analysing thousands of posts. Eventually, I found which posts work best for job seekers.

Next, I created a tailored content strategy for my clients. It helped them to create posts directly aimed at all the people you need to land a job. (Hiring managers, recruiters, industry professionals and fellow job seekers.)

Big news! Later this month, I will launch this service as a new digital product. You can access the exact LinkedIn posts my clients used to get jobs.

I'll share a full strategy explaining why these posts worked and give you access to the exact templates used. This will help you remove 99% of the work but give you 100% of the results.

It worked for my clients, so I think it'll work for you too.
